Quietly: arranging help for someone who would never ask

The hardest households to reach are the ones that never fill in a form. Quietly exists for them — for the neighbour who mentions in passing that the kids are sleeping on the floor, and then changes the subject.

What you do

You tell us who the household is, roughly what they seem to need, and how you know them. It takes about three minutes. You do not need their permission, and you are not signing up to anything ongoing.

What we do

A member of our team makes a discreet approach — usually a short, warm message offering specific items rather than asking about circumstances. There is no assessment, no interview and no paperwork unless the family wants something that needs it.

What the family is never told

We never name the nominator. Not on the doorstep, not later, not if asked directly. The offer comes from us.

What you are told back

One line: taken care of, or not this time. You will not hear what was accepted or declined. That detail belongs to the family, and keeping it private is what makes the whole thing safe to accept.

Got something usable to pass on, or need something yourself?
